A message from Joe:
My name is Joe Brown, and I have chosen to accept the position of Associate Director of the PKC Beagle Division. I have been doing competition beagle hunts since 1993. I served as a field representative for UKC for 7 years and was also on the Board of Directors for The National Hunting Beagle Association for 5 years and served as President for 2 of those years. I have been partners with my dad John Brown at Halfway Kennels since 1994. When I started running PKC in October 2016 I was hooked from the first cast I was on. In January 2017 I teamed up with Toby and Anna Thompson along with Michael Wilson to form Halfway Buckstyle Kennels. I have two daughters Shania (18) and Mariah (15) both of which like the beagles but because of their busy schedules with theatre and sports they don’t really have the time to learn and handle dogs in the hunts. I am also currently the President of The Majenica Conservation Club in Warren, Indiana.
I look forward to working with all of you to make this organization grow. I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, PKC has some of the toughest hounds I’ve ever had the pleasure of running against. This is the Professional Kennel Club and we will continue to conduct ourselves in a professional manner. I want to thank Lance Spivey and Roger Dale Carnegie for giving me this opportunity and I believe that with all of your help we can make this the best organization out there. After all PKC is THE PLACE TO BE!
