Congratulations to a Dusty, a nice hound owned & handled by Jared Norris of Wellston, Ohio. He was crowned the winner of the First Buckeye Invitational Northern Major Hunt held today at Piketon, Oh. With the 2 qualifiying rounds we wasn't sure how many entries we would have, or how the locals hunters would accept the hunt. But, overall it came out be a very nice hunt! With 28 total entries.
Jared & Dusty will recieve the invitaion to the Nationals next spring.
We appreciate everybody who made it out & we had a great time. Some wonderful calcutta's a bunch of laugh's - and great sportsmanship & a great opportunity to meet alot of new friends over the weekend. For those of you that had to leave, you missed a great hunt. And for those of you that stayed and help judge, guide and just be helpful. THANKS so much. And Goldie for working hard in the kitchen to make sure we had some nice warm food all weekend long, Thanks.
